How are you frugal?

I wish I had one of my family members cut my hair yesterday. I paid $16 for a glorified trimming. Asked for long layers not for my hair to be shaped. There is a difference

Learned my lesson. Never pay for someone to cut/style my hair except for a special occasion and groom my own dog - it is over $40 for the cheapest groomer.

That's exactly the reason I cut my own. I'm very vain that way. People say that the hair will grow back....but you have to wait sssooo long for it to grow enough to cut it the right way because they probably cut way too much to start with. This way...if it looks bad...it's MY fault. No one to blaim but myself.

Short fine. At least that would be something. This person essential charged me for a few snips. She didn't even bother to wet down my hair or even my part before she cut my hair.

This is why I personally stopped tipping when I get a "trim". The chair doesn't even get warm cause my butt don't even get to sit there for 5 minutes! Total RIP-OFF!

I do have considerable restraint since I am unable to work, I make it my job to save whenever and however possible.

Opposite. DH makes the money. I get the money. I pay all the bills. He doesn't worry. And now that I get the money....we actually have money left over!
