How Bad Is It to Store Eggs The Wrong Way?

I'm doing a favor for one of my mother's friends. I was asked if I could hatch a few eggs for her friend. They showed up today with 6 dozen eggs! I asked how they were stored. I guess she got them on Tuesday and a couple of the cartons were upside down and as I was looking at them some appeared to be very large and porous with a wrinkle in them. I would pull them, but since they aren't mine I just put them in the incubator. They weren't turned either.
Do think tye're any good?

I have seen a few posts that say they have hatched porous eggs. Shipped eggs also hatch and probably have had worse done to them than being turned upside down. People also hatch grocery store eggs that have been in the fridge and are not turned. I would try hatching them, you might be surprised with the result. Keep us posted.

Though they have a lower chance of hatching, pourous eggs can and have

been hatched. Shipped eggs seem to go through more than this, and they've

obviously been hatched.
