How bad is your addiction?

I can stop whenever I want to!! lol! I have it pretty bad-we have 4 hens in our intown backyard. So I decided to hatch some chicks-have 14 -2 week olds. As if that wasn't crazy enough, now I have almost 4 dozen more eggs in my incubator. That's it for me though-no more chickies after this. I'm already freaking out deciding where these will all go!

I'm bugging my husband to sell our house on the lake and buy 100 acres so I can erect some big buildings and start another hatchery in Ontario:>) Naw...I'm not addicted. Everytime I ask him for money he asks me where the chickens are for sale....sheesh!

I HAVE to go slow and ease up - for the life of my current chickens....... if I add too many they'll be all squished up in the coop - and I don't want that - and there is no way I can get hubby to build another - so I'll enjoy what I have for now - well that and the new babies due to hatch today or tomorrow.

I'm deffiently a chickohalic and a hatchohalic. We just came home with 19 more birds from a show on sunday. I have 2 incubators and a broody full, plus another genisis on the way. 2 brooders full of chicks, an order of ducks coming in next week, our duck just went broody so she needs some eggs to sit on, and about 25+ chickens outside and 3 ducks. Plus Primo the lap chicken

I am a "virtual" chicken addict... I come here and covet all the chickens of others!!
(I have not yet come to the place of repentance from this sin.)

I check out library books and study what kind of chickens I will have "some day." I go to sleep at night planning where I can put a nice chicken coop in my back yard.....

At least I do have two Hummingbird eggs being incubated by their mother on my front porch. That should count for something!

have you told your dh the wonderful health benefits to fresh pasture egg (30% less cholesterol) more nutrients & vitamins!

I will pray for a softer heart and a strong desire for EGGS!!!

Did I mention most of the people on here wanted 4 to 6 ((me included))

There are 80 chickens and 2 ducks living at my house. I don't have a problem.

Lets see my Mom has been hatching for 6 years without me. I have been putting eggs in the incubator and I dont tell her what they are. I do it all the time

And I have stold her incubator for the last 2 months. And I have filled it to the brim. yet before it was a surprise egg I added once in a while. hahahahaha

My last hatch is in 3 more weeks.
