How big of a coop?

ps. I only wanted a handful of hens for eggs too. I ended up having to convert a 10x20 shed into 3 sections and building a 700 sq.ft. run off of that. I am looking at doing an additional 8x32 hoop house/run combo in the near future so I can put meat rabbits in the front section of the shed and use the hoop house for my breeder Delawares. Be careful the chicken math bug

If you have the space and local laws permit more chickens then you plan on getting.....GO BIGGER!!!! Currently I have space for up to 14 but only house 8 chickens. I culled 5 roos this summer. Spring is right around the corner!!!! Which means MORE CHICKENS!!!!
