Where do you get that? When I asked for marine grade plywood at Home Depot, the guy looked at me like I was nuts.
Also, what kind of wheels did you use and where did you get them.
I would love to see some pics of your caravan under construction, if you have them
.
I buy all my wood panels at a great local lumber wholesaler, ( scroungers paradise ), he buys large bundles of imported plywood in a huge variety of types, at crazy discount prices. My recommendation would be to find a local boatbuilder and ask him to direct you to a source for geniune marine grade, but any good exterior plywood would suffice, provided you prime it well and give it a couple good coats of weather guard exterior paint.
The tires and axles are from a lot of wheelbarrow kits I bought, ( also wholesale ), the fiberglass bodies / buckets of the wheelbarrows had been damaged in transit and I got a couple dozen of the tire kits and hardware for $3 each ! You can buy just the tire / axle kits at
Tractor Supply or Northern Tool for around $12 or so. Hope this helps
( sorry no pix of work in progress
. I've made so many coops in the last couple years and did take wip pix of first few, but then I just got too busy to keep it up. This coop was made on the fly in a manic moment of inspiration, I didn't even draw up plans for it ! I promise to do so with the next one and will enter it in the coop contest here
