How can I forgive myself for killing her.

believe me when i say accidents happen. Just last friday night i completely ripped the yolk sac (it hadnt obsorbed completely and i thought it was some poo) out of one of my week old golden comets. thankfully she ended up being ok, but talk about feeling horrible. and ive only been doing this for a little more than a week. im very sorry for your loss, but take consolation in the fact that it wasnt a graphic accident like mine was.

I know Kevin forgave you, you are a GOOD mommy, and it was a stupid accident. My best girl Buffy is buried in the yard, and I planted a bush on top. I think of her every time I look at it.

I am so very sorry. It happens and it feels horrible. I once picked up my favorite Serama hen to move her to another pen, and for some reason she went into shock and died. I could tell you a bunch of storys, but it's depressing.... It happens. You loved the little one, you didn't mean to do it. I've felt a hundred times that I didn't want to do this anymore, but I've still got my chickens.

hey thats a 6reat idea to plant something were u bury her heck we have a mini grave yard that we plant stuf at from kittens being still born & the many cats weve had its wonderful to think of all the love they gave when u look at that spot!
