How Can I Get My Drake To Accept The New Ducklings? HELP!!

My Swedish mix Ebony is confined to his new living quarters until the ducklings are at least fast enought to run away.

I have 3 5 week old babies. They are almost as big as mom, and my drake cannot be around them for a second without going after them. I block him and he wont give up. They're his kids! I don't get it. To make matters worse, one of the babies is a Male. So we will have 3 females, 2 males. Any ideas? He sees them through the wire all day, it's not helping him accept them.
