How can I make a candler for bantam eggs?

I also try to wait and candle on day 10. When I candle with just a couple days incubation - I do not see anything. Generally about day 4 or 5 I can see good vein development.

if the mag flash lite is the led with 5 or 7 light's, that works great. what i do is take a piece of duk tape, have it a bit longer (1/3 inch) than the light is round, fold over 1/3 on it self, tape it on the flash light, then you don't need to use your hand to block the light, plus the egg (all different sizes) fits in the tape. easy peasy. your room doesn't need to be as dark when you use the tape

Hey, me and my son just made one from a toilet paper roll. You cut it down the middle and then tape it back together the size of our bantam eggs, then put the egg on top and the flashlight on the bottom:

Hi! If you want to build a 'candler', here's a thread.
I'm still happy with and using my coffee-can candler.

Same thing for me. A mag light and my hands. I am nervous sticking the eggs in anything and prefer to hold it myself.

I just used a mini mag and held them. Good Luck!
