How can I make a quail feeder that eliminates their mess?

I’m trying out raising quail for the first time and I’ve heard that they are extremely messy, is there a way to fix this or do I just have to top it up ever few hours?

All baby birds are messy.
Never had quail but.....

The size of even adult quail rules out treadle feeders. In my opinion you will need to go to the second method of rodent prevention, exclude the rodents from the coop by building a very tight coop and run.
