How can I make my hens go broody

How can I make my hens go broody? The rooster is new, I got him two weeks ago. He has been getting on top of the hens, but they keep laying eggs after another. I want at least to go broody and hatch eggs.

You can't make a hen go broody. Some breeds are broodier than others. Silkies and Cochins are good broodies.

If you have a hen that is supposed to go broody a lot, sometimes leaving eggs in a nest is enough to do the trick
