. I said “hang on, do birds come from factories?! Where do birds come from?” Another child piped up “eggs!” And so I added “Where do the eggs come from?” “Chickens!!!” So very close! (I teach city kids, and their understanding of nature is something we work on).


Lol!!Hi, I'm pretty new to chickens and I have a couple questions. Firstly how can I tell if my hens are pregnant? I have a rooster in the herd but I'm not sure if the the hens are old enough yet. How would I know when they are old enough and what do I do if they have twins? Or do they always have multiple?
