How can I tell if she's sick?

Update on little Edwina. I could not find the Nuti-Drench but the feed store recommended an antibiotic. I put this in my flocks water and Edwina's. She is in her own box so I can watch her. I have a 1 ml syringe and she has been drinking the antibiotic water from this only. I have feed with her but I can tell she is still not eating. From yesterday she is walking around ( a few steps) more and cheeping more and louder when I pick her up. I mashed up some egg yolks and was able to get a little bit in the syringe and she drank it all. she is pooping but it is all water. she is puffed up and has her eyes closed mostly. But defiantly I think she is somewhat better, probably because she not so dehydrated any more. I took a brief video so everyone can see her demeanor.

Your chick is getting better. She has the perk of one who is ready to fight to get well. But she closes her eyes because she's still weak.

Try wetting her crumbles or fermenting them. Get some tofu and crumble it up. Since you can't find Nutri-drench, get some Poly-vi-sol without iron and sprinkle it on her food a couple times a day.

These steps should give her the needed strength to recover fully. finish the antibiotics, too. Don't quit them for at least a week.

I love the name Edwina. It fits her.

As usual azygous is there with great advice! When mine was very sick last year (I suspect Cocci but not entirely sure) she didn't want to eat or drink but I had a very tiny metal cup that I filled with water and set in front of her and floated a pinch of food in it. Not sure if it was the movement of the food as it moved across the water or what but she would stick her beak in to get the pieces of food which got both a few drops of water as well as a couple pieces of food in her every hour or so. I did that every hour or so for 2 days since I was home. She was very weak but it enticed her enough, after that 2 days she was drinking on her own without the enticement and eating the chopped up boiled egg yolk I offered in small amounts.

I have to remember that trick! Floating food bits on water is genius! Of course chickens can't resist any food in motion!

Azygous, I found the Nutri-drench!!! I gave her a rapid response dose, which was a little tricky since she only ways .5 lbs
Question, how many dose's do I give her? Once a day? I really appreciate your help !

Thanks, I was desperate because I was terrified to try to syringe the Corid water into her and she would not touch the soaked mash everyone suggested. So I floated the food on the Corid water. She was extremely weak but still able to stand and look so I would imagine much later and she would have been past that initiative to weakly chase food, and I had to make it extremely easy for her so the little sauce cup (from the restaurant supply that butter is served in) was ideal because it was small enough to do a very tiny amount and get her attention and be close enough that she barely had to move to get it.

Oh no she is not doing good... She is very quite again. She made the worst sound I thought she was going to die right then... Poor baby.

How warm do you have her? Is she pooping? Or has she stopped?

It is about 85 when she does poop is watery. I really don't know the last time she pooped.. When I gave her the nutri stuff 3 hours ago it was watery, nothing solid.
