how can we dry up the land?

Hello I know this is a few years late but I would like to write this to inform others that read this. Do not put sand in there pen and especially there bedding why I say this is because sand gets very cold at night time and because of this pigs can get pneumonia I know this beacause I have lost a pig because of putting sand in there pen and bedding.
