How can you tell if chickens are stressed (when they aren't laying)

I just got my 4 chickens on Saturday. I know I haven't had them very long, but I've gotten no eggs yet and they are about a year old so they've been laying (according to their previous owner). I understand that a new environment can cause stress, but they don't "seem" stressed to me. I also don't know what I'm looking for. They act happy and normal enough. Eating and drinking normally and just acting like.. chickens lol. Am I just being impatient?

Wait about a few weeks up to a month. Moving causes stress in chickens no matter what. Just be patient and bond with them. They’ll be laying eggs soon enough.

Make sure to feed them suitable feed for a laying hen.
