How cold hardy are broilers?

I'm looking to do my first round of Meat birds this spring but I'm wondering when I can put them outside in a tractor here in NY? TS gets them in between March-May. I'm looking to butcher around 6-10 weeks but I'm thinking they'll need a lamp the whole time?
