How cold is to cold for button quails??

I have 8 button quail and there 6 weeks and normally its 60 degrees or more in the house and I have just turned of there heat lamp and they where doing ok till later when they weren't very playful and where just sitting still so I turned there heat lamp back on and they went back to normal, so should I keep the heat lamp on or of and wait a while to see how they do? Thanks

you should have been lowering the temp by 5 degrees each week so by week 6 they should be okay with 70-80 degrees F temps. So 60 is a bit too cold still for them. do put a thermometer in the brooder and check the temp and adjust as needed. Good luck.
