How cold is too cold? Check this out...

Welcome to Canadian Weather everyone!

This whole week in Alberta (the province over from B.C) has been -40C to -52C. I myself had to put my ducks in my insulated shed on Monday and they have not left the shed all week. Temps supposed to warm up to -20C by after the weekend.

Northern Wisconsin is in the midst of a cold snap now too. Warmed to about 10* yesterday and started to snow last night. Awoke to about ten inches of the fluffy stuff. It’s still coming down too. Weather dude says 10* tonight, 2* sunday, but may zoom up to 35* next week. So far today, I’ve shoveled out the run, refilled the heated waterer, plowed/snow blowered the drive (is that even a word?), and ran to tractor supply for a new bag of crumbles. it isn’t even noon here yet. That’s a productive Saturday morning for me!

A couple of years ago we had -35 F. It was so cold your bare hand would stick to the door knob inside the garage. And with saying that, another 20 degrees difference, would be a big difference.

And I thought it was cold here at -20 degree windchill, although we could be in for worse. The wind is the absolute worst. I moved my girls into the garage so - I - wouldn't freeze taking care of them heh.

But I do have some supplemental heat going, mostly for the drinkers and to take the humidity out of the air.
