Six months ago i convinced my husband to let me get 2 chicks. Now i have 19!!! I live in a subdivision and my backyard borders 5 other backyards!!! I think hubby is slowly jumping on board...he recently changed his ring tone to chicken sounds, lol!

Well....chickens are legal but I'm technically not supposed to according to my neighborhood covenant but it doesnt really get enforced. I'm sure I'm over my legal limit.
I figure as long as i keep a clean environment and am considerate of my neighbors, maybe it wont be an issue.
Plus, 11 of the 19 are indoors as they were just recently hatched.
All of my chickens (except lola, perl and ruby) were hatched from shipped ebay eggs.
