How did you come up with your screen name?

King Tubby was a Jamaican electronics and sound engineer, known primarily for his influence on the development of dub in the 1960s and 1970s. Tubby's innovative studio work, which saw him elevate the role of record producer to a creative height previously only reserved for composers and musicians, would prove to be highly influential across many genres of popular music. He is often cited as the inventor of the concept of the remix, and so may be seen as a direct antecedent of much dance and electronic music production.


King Tubby was also the name of my WCB Polish rooster who unfortunately got eaten by raccoons last year. His pic is my avatar. I used to hear him every morning outside my bedroom window. I still miss him. RIP.

I live on 10 acres, although I don't do any real farming (I do have a horse pasture that the neighbors horse likes to graze on) and I have one Vizsla (a red dog), several red tinted Siberian Huskies, and one Red Tail Hawk who loves to circle over the pasture looking for lunch. Now I've added 30 chickens, some of whom have red feathers on them as well. I figured that was a lot of Red Tails for one Ranch!

Well, obviously, my name is Amy. For many years, I gave (and sometimes still do) horse-drawn carriage tours through historic Natchitoches. The customers would always want a way to send me copies of their pics of the horses, so I created this name, and it's been with me ever since.

I was a police officer for 28 years. When I was promoted to Sergeant my Chief called me "Sergeant Mom" as I was the first female officer in our department with a child. My badge number was 52 - Thererfore - Sgtmom52 - I retired from policework in January of this year.
