How did you come up with your screen name?

Well I got my name 2mnypets from the mini petting zoo my husband and I seem to have created in our lil world. We have 3 kids ages 16, 14 & 12. I breed Newfoundland dogs and have 4 of them. Then comes the Orange Cat named Rowdy (the vet named him that at 7 weeks & boy was he right ~ that was 8 years ago) 3 larg fish tanks with two of them being saltwater, a canary, 2 dwarf hamsters, my middle child's lil fish tank, the chickens and then the rabbits.

I'm a nurse and an Army Vet.....need I say more? I see death at work, and then come home and see abundant life! ;

My hubby calls me this name in an affectionate way....more like U SHEEP! I do like Scottish Highland sheep but none to be found around here....in US, that is!

Hubby loves Rob Roy movie and he enjoyed going baaaaa at any comments from anyone that makes lewd jokes about his kilts.....

How about this one, ladies??????

Mine was a nick name picked up in college. I first created it for a vampire character in a book I was writting... maybe someday I will finish it. LOL! Anyways the name just came to me. I have since learned that there is a village somewhere with that same name and that with a slight modification it's an Indian name (not native american) that means something to do with water. That is significant because both my given first and middle name have meaings that have to do with water.

When I get in an agressive mood my friends say I'm acting like Var or today must be a Varisha day

My friends tend to call my Var or Var Var more than my given name.

I thinik my screen name says it all. I am trying to be a urban homesteader.
Someday DH and I will sell the house and move to the country. I have read every homesteading book I can get my hands on. We want to be more self sufficient and not be so dependant on the grid.
Untill then I have to content myself with my container garden(veggies). I have canned some of my veggies and even made homemade cheese and yogert(store bought milk though). Now I have my back yard chickens.

My real name is Rachel.

EweSheep I think your DH looks mighty fine in his kilt.

Well, first off great idea Freebie. While my wife and I were honeymooning in Maui we decided to go by our Hawaiin names while we were there. Keleka was mine and I've just stuck to it. Not many people would ever know what it meant I guess.

BTW - my name is Derek and it's great to hear about everyone
