How did you come up with your screen name?

This thread is SO intertaining!

My screen name is to honor my Grandmother.

When she was a small child, she would follow her older sister Wanona around like a shadow. The family started calling her 'wee Wanona'.

We lost her over 10 years ago (

) and I've gone by her childhood nickname ever since.

P.S. As for men in kilts - where's a good breeze when you need one?

I have a friend that's a McLeod, so I know about kilts...I can wear a Clergy...OY!!!
I was disappointed when I read Mudhen was from WV and not Toledo...that's going back aways...like to the late 70's...
My name is Native American, even though I'm not one, in this life anyway.

Crows are one of my "Walks by Sides" Totem animals...I have freckles so that's that part...but I was given this name by Floyd Westerman in a DreamQuest...
BTW, I'm a female, go by the name, Brenda...sometimes
...but have been know to answer to DeLoris, Sandra, Magda, Lynn, or Susan...depending on who was calling me at the time.
That Utilikilt is ingenious...

I'm from Kansas and there are sunflowers all over the place here in the summer. I love sunflowers - they're so cheerful. Love this site. I just got some new chickens after a 20 year break (just became a country girl again!)

Grace, thanks for the kilt link:p he would look good in those kind of kilts while doing construction projects or woodworking projects...eye candy for me!

As for breezes, we all can dream, cant we?????? Hubby's dont go up but they swing gently from side to side

One of those usual questions were from women and girls alike...what does he have under his kilts????? Only I know but dont share

One of these days my DD who is going to be 3, would take her hand and go up on his leg like she is hanging on to him and accidently find something LOLOLOL:lol: Let's hope it never happens but kids do the darnest things!

As hubby tells me of his trip to Scotland, a polished brass inspection among the kilted guards or kilted Scottish army. He would have to get signed on here and tell you that himself. Brought back some beautiful pics of Scotland and the countryside. What an adventure! That was way before I met him....

As for his tartan...it is Thompson, family of Campbell clan. This plaid is for formal wear, not hunting tartan which it is sickly brown and green with some lime green or blue running thru it. I like the blue one better and he gets alot of comments. He is PROUD to wear his kilts...believe me, they are not cheap!

Hope to complete his outfit by buying a Bonnie Prince Charlie jacket......

He LOVES good comments and wooo hooooo's (cat calls from women)....even I flutter the sight of him walking with his kilts but I do more my share of petting "Thumper"

(his sporran) Hee hee!

I love this thread! I've wondered about a lot of your screen names..
Mine is not very inventive. A few years ago when our family got our first internet, I was setting up everyone's email accounts, while trying to cook dinner at the same time. I grabbed whatever words came to mind for each family member, and since I was cookin and have kids...voila!

I don't have that email account anymore, but I try to reuse my names, because otherwise I can't remember which one goes where!

nightshade- my name comes from a fond species wildflower of mine. As well as saying alittle about my life style, an insominac. But it's okay. I am an artist by profession so the extra hours to myself are all good. The other user name I normally use for my online stuff refures to my business name ForestDragon. lol

FUN stories!
My son and I made this up. Like in the movie "Three Men and a Baby" where they acquire a baby and learn to take care of and love her, only it's three chicks and a boy-- we are learning alot from BYC and with your input to some of our q's have inquired about 4-H too! And we love our chicks alot!
