How did you come up with your screen name?

it is my nickname. i got it before i even started to like chickens

I had a nice quarter horse that I showed (he is gone now). I always put "rimshoes" on his rear hooves. I got a new farrier and he never had a pair of "rimshoes" in his stock. I always made him bring a pair when he shod my horse and apparently it was a real pain in the rear for him. One day he called me "rimshoes" in front of the whole barn and it just stuck.

Well, since I CHANGED MY SCREEN NAME, THE ABOVE NO LONGER APPLIES !!

NOW I call myself the "Guinea Goonie" because I have fallen head over heels for these wacky, playful and wondrous birds.

They are such "goones" and I am Goonie about them.

I've had my screen name on multiple messageboards for about 10 years
now.
It comes from my job and my name.
Vettek = veterinary technician + Lisa =my name

I was trying to name my Silver Laced Wyandotts.
I heard a french lady on the radio named Sylvie which sounded like silver and then named one chicken Sylvie. I was so happy with the name that a couple hours later when I joined BYC I used it for my screen name.
