How did you come up with your screen name?

My name came from the fact that I'm a crunchy hippie who happens to have short fire red hair and loves tattoos and piercings. The 3 leghorns we got are our punk rock chickens because of their large combs and piercings (the metal clamps on their wings from the hatchery). I'm also a mama to 3 lovely girls who think having a country minded mama in the city is pretty cool. So I'm the punk rock chicken mama.

I used to help with dog rescue. One day I brought home a tiny toy(5 lb), 10 year old, red Poodle named Pebbles who was on death's door. We nursed Pebbles back to health and she lived another six years. She was a spunky little gal and quickly became Queen in the household, even bossing around our 100 lb Malamute. We had six other dogs at that time. Pebblesplussix is long so "Pebblessix" became my screen name.

Mine isn't very creative but works...A friend started calling me EMA when I was a teenager it is all my intials in a row. First name middle and last. The name stuck and now I use it when I sign up to anything cause this way I don't give up my real name :)

I come up with the name from the song Funkytown. I used to have a auto custom shop that was named Funky Town Customs, so I just changed it to Funky Farm.....

Ever watch the musical The Music Man ? There is a part where the gossiping ladys of the town are together doing what they do best and gossiping and their song makes them sound like a bunch of hens chatting it up. As a kid I could never get the words to the song right because they sang it soooo fast. "Pick a little, talk a little, pick a little,
talk a little, cheep cheep cheep, talk a lot, pick a little more" I would always sing it as cheep a'lil talk a'lil. And there you have it.
Fun thread!

It seemed to me that anywhere I logged in, I would get repeatedly asked NA&L; Name, age and location, and with privacy issues becomming so prevalent, I maintained some by answering the same way, but I decided to lessen the number of times I'd type in the same response=Deb, old enough to know better and too young to care, and Florida; and just shortened it to FL_Deb, which over the years has undergone further reduced keyboarding effort to just fl_deb.
