Hmm, this is a tough one.

Pet Duck + Boy = Pet Duck Boy! HOORAH!

It's simple enough and gets the point across. When I joined the forums I didn't expect to end up with chickens a few months later.

St.-Hubert is the name of a BBQ chicken restaurant chain in Montreal, Quebec. My biological father's side of the family is from Montreal, and I remember that restaurant with fond memory. Figured it'd be a good name for a chicken board!

ok so my name is the name i use as my writers name i write songs books poems and i sgin them all with Fairybee dont ask me why because im not sure i just remember sitting in my art class one day at school and signing my work fairybee i love fairys and am allergic to bee stings so not sure why i put the two together

 

[Soaring Chicks]

Well I have to start with my farm name to make since. We have Red Tail Hawks that nest here and they are always soaring over us so I came up with Soaring Hawks Farm. Then when I joined BYC I picked Soaring Chicks with the hawks and some chicks I got where tring to fly. It just seemed fitting.

How did I come up with my screen name? It's the same name I use on my Nukeworker forum, it's a inside astrophysics pun. The astrophysic guys are always looking for darkmatter, it could be either WIMPS or MACHOS. or something else altogether, they just can't find it. Now they're looking for darkenergy too.

Well, I came up with the most clever idea yet!............... I used my actual name......

Had I known everyone would have these quirky chicken and/or location oriented nicknames I would have been a bit more creative.

On the other hand, at least people can simply call me Laura or LJ, whereas I have to type things like "I totally agree WhiteChickensFromAfricaWithHatsOn, that was really interesting. Thanks WhiteChickensFromAfricaWithHatsOn, for that great tip!" And you can TRY to shorten it....."Yeah, WhiteChick, I hear ya!" but sometimes........ it just looks dumb.
