Thank you!I know you are asking tigger19687, but you question is such a tempting low hanging fruit, I just cant hold myself back answering.
My Ador1 is pictured in post#2. It is surface mount. No rails or anything of such to install as in other doors. Takes 9 small screws to hold in place. 10. minute job unless you have friends over and are convincing them to get chickens like you have,,,,,,Job could stretch to 2 hours and case of cooling beverage consumption.
The 12 foot cord (optional)is a remote eye if your door is in really deep shade or installed inside coop where it can not see daylight.
You can purchase the door, and when it arrives, you can fine tune its location onto your coop. You may also decide you need it inside rather than outside. At that point you would need the 12 foot sensor. It also comes in a 4 foot length.
It almost sounds like I'm a Ador salesperson.Trust me, I'm not, but VERY SATISFIED with my door.
