How did your flock annoy you today?

Well I cracked the egg and it look like this. Now I alarmed.
Looks like the actual part of the ovary also released itself with the yolk. I think it is ovarian tissue + blood. Someone double check me, would the ovarian tissue turn that dark red/black?
Also, if so, it'd be both edible and fine for the chicken.
Looking at it further, the yellow clumps below the egg look odd. I have no clue what that could be. That disproves my hypothesis I believe.

This was actually last week, but the chicken I was certain to be my first to lay wasn't laying. She's a big calico princess and her comb and wattles got big and she was squatting. But others started laying and she still wasn't.

Then one day last week I heard a ruckus in the shelves at the back of the coop and thought a rat or raccoon had somehow gotten in. Until Minnie popped her yellow head up and gave me the chicken side eye. She clambered out from behind the bins and I lifted her down and pulled out the bins. Oh.

Rascal. I've had to block off that shelf, and now she is laying in the nest boxes like she's supposed to.
