How do chickens sleep?

My chicks slept on the floor until the last month. Some were stretched out. They are 12 weeks old. They now get up on the roosts sitting all together. Too cute.

Mine are all on their perch but they are hanging upside down. I can't find anyone else with chicks imitating bats. Maybe this is a polish thing?

Are they actually supposed to tuck their heads behind their wings?
