How do I catch a "wild" Peahen

She showed up with a flock of wild turkys about 2 weeks ago. I don't know of anyone close to me with peafowl, so have no idea where she came from. I'm in an area of large ranches, so she must have come from at least 4-5 miles away. She looks young, but I don't know much about peas so not sure about that. I have been feeding the flock close to my pole barn, but haven't been able to get any of them to go inside. We are getting some very nasty weather right now, forecast of 20" of snow and its -15 now with -45 wind chill. I don't know what kind of temp they can take with out shelter other than the pine trees.

Peafowl are pretty hardy, i wouldnt worry. maybe she preferes the company of the turkeys lol. But i will share some experience that i have with catching bird as a kid. I would tie some fishing line onto maybe the top and a guinea pig cage with a stick propped under it then put some feed under the cage or net whatever you want to use, and once they go under pull fast and it will fall over what you are trying to catch. Ive caught squirrels doves crows just about anything that would go under it even a few rabbits this way! Have not done it in years, I used to be fun when i had nothing to do after school and i would release them after i took pictures of them and they would run/fly off

I guess I would like to keep her, if I could catch her and lock her up for a while. I've always wanted Peafowl, but was never allowed to have some. Now I have no one telling me what I can have or not have, and she shows up, it just seems like I should try to catch her.

You can take a large dog kennel if you have one..... Put some feed in it, put it in a spot that she may wander in, and tie a rope to the door so you can close it fast from a distance.
