I am not sure what I have zoning wise, I live in the country, people across the road have cows and horses, and poultry, but I live on a lake would my zoning be different??

You need to check all of the following:

State statues, county ordnances, town ordnances, deed restrictions, and any association bylaws.

There are likely to be slightly different requirements around any body of water, this includes rivers, stream, ponds, or brooks.

These are not zone related and actually can be used to beat the crap out of landowners that transgress them, this even goes so far as to cause local jurisdictions to cough up money for violations and remediation expenses if they allow the transgression to take place by granting permits or failing to enforce the laws.

For your Subdivision restrictions look at your property survey and listed on there should be the vol.pages of your deed restrictions. You can research those at the county clerks office

After a little looking I found the township adviser lives several houses down, and after looking at the ordinances and association bylaws I found out something weird I can have poultry but the association says no to roosters, I dont have roosters anyway. So thanks to everyone who posted.

Yup a lot of places don't allow roosters.

Now you just need to pay attention to the building rules and regs, even in places that allow poultry you may still get aced out when you go to build that coop and run. Setbacks can nail you just as easily as any no poultry restriction.
