how do i get live birds from the airport without being ripped off

someone is selling me myna birds from GA well i live in sacramento and said i would be at the airport 8pm arriving from canada and asked if the seller would send me the birds to reach at that time they said ok and are selling me these birds very cheap how do i know they are not tricking me?

and how do we know the bird get sent to the right airport? IM so confused ive never had live birds shipped ot me

most airlines will not ship animals in the heat...check with the airline she says she is shipping them with... thats a red flag for me

How about asking the seller to ship them USPS Express? It will be cheaper, and much more reliable.

Make sure it is legit! Scammers are abound everywhere and you just can not be sure.

with this heat wave we have been having, I do not think the USPS would ship birds in this heat.

My thought is that when I ship live birds, I dont tell the PO when I want them. THEY tell me when they can get them there. I have never had birds show up 'on time'

I would be nervous about this transaction.

#1 If it's too good to be true, it most likely is.

#2 This story has scam artist written all over it. I would pass if I were you.

There's no proof that you could ask for that I could think of that she couldn't forge or scam. Even if you asked for referrals, she'd just give you a different number or one of her friends. If you insist on continuing this transaction, the only thing I would do is absolutely use a credit card. You can send CC through Paypal, so there's absolutely no reason she can't take one. Use American Express if at all possible. That way if ou don't receive the birds, you can dispute the charge. AMEX purchases are completely guaranteed.

That e-mail address is VERY suspicious (as well as the entire e-mail in it). I say scam.

If it was american airlines, they would have an email address more like [email protected] - NOT @usa.com

Don't give them any money! If you still think it might be legit, look up the shipping airline online and call them yourself from the phone number on the website. Do not use any e-mail or phone number the seller gives you.

If it were me, I wouldn't give them a DIME.
