How do I keep cats out of my yard

I’m thinking of putting those metal sticks that store owners use to keep pigeons off their signs. I have a cat who isn’t a problem with my chickens, but there’s another cat who keeps jumping in to get him. I’m not sure what I can do to keep these guys out.

Geese and guinea fowl. Never had a problem till they were gone.

Electric, or cover their run.

I would worry those metal spiky things might injure the cat, and you'll end up having to deal with that.
