you can always sell the fur (with the proper permits of course) where i live (western Canada) coyotes are reaching around 120 dollars at local buyers in some places..
i got into trapping to protect my animals, turns out i love the hobby. even can pay for its self (heck up here people do it for a winter job as prices can be really good) but still foxes are going around 10-15 dollars last time i check and that pays for a bag of feed and one less pest to have around.
i have tanned some fur its okay. i kept my first two animals i caught (mink and weasel) its a long process.
