How do I know if Quail are allowed in my area?

I would LOVE to have chickens, but I think that is to big of a risk for living in a neighborhood that doesn't allow poultry.

Quail are considered a gamebird which should be allowed by arguement

But if anything you shouldn't have to worry about it especially if your getting females as males "Sometimes" tend to get loud not always.

A few quail won't matter so you should be fine.

if you keep the quail inside and cage them am sure you could get a away with saying there pets (as long as pet birds are allowed) and i think it would depend on the type of quail, i know new world are most of the time classified as gamebirds which in most places require permits if there native to where you live. (here is SK bob whites are the only quail i can raise so am stuck with them)
