How do I know when it’s time to put down my little boy?

All my roosters had to be put down because my area doesn't allow them
They had great lives most chickens don't get to have

did you put them down when they started making noise or when you found out im sure you thought of seeing if someone else could take them I know its hard to find good homes for roosters and i dont know how big your area is if its to far or not if you didint know that is always a option but im sorry for what you went through It might sound like I dont care but I do

Sad to hear but you did the best for him in the time you had...

yea, his life wasn’t worth living in the end and I knew he didn’t deserve to keep living with the state his beak was in,no matter how much I loved him, and his company on earth a better place was waiting on him holding the gates open for him

Sorry for your loss @Firsttimehens1234 . It would be sad to have to end their life, but it is better they don’t suffer.

I agree, his beak was getting worse and worse every week no matter how much I filled it down it still grew sideways
