How do i make my Hen go broody?

I'm sure heritage ones are decent moms, but hatcheries don't produce heritage, they produce ones that don't go broody so they lay as many eggs as possible

I'm not sure how you came to that conclusion.

Where did you get her, and where did you hear NHR are good mothers?

First you'd need a breed that is prone to going broody. NHRs are not.

Get fake eggs and lock them in a nesting box for a little and it will force them to go broody.

I know, but if you just set this up in the coop, then any of the hens you have could possibly go broody. Maybe she has differ breeds that are more likely to go broody?

You can’t.

Its not 100% to work, but it is worth a try. Set up a nice stop, its better then nothing, and won't harm anything if it doesn't work.
