How do I propagate blackberries?

Great info, thanks. So, isn't that the same thing the ripping th cuttings in rooting stimulator hormone 'should' do? The canes are growing a lot right now, so I have the cuttings from pruning.

Yes, that's exactly what the root stimulator should do. You moved the cuttings to soil, now you can add some of the stimulator to them when you water and they should root nicely. Depending on where you live, they will probably be rooted well enough by winter to survive, but it wouldn't hurt to keep them inside until spring.

Thanks! How about the greenhouse, would that be better than keeping them inside?

That is not necessarily a good thing, leaves are growing but no roots to supply them, that kills the cuttings, in early spring and late winter roots will grow first or at least in the same time with leaves
Makes sense.... so that explains why if I bend the plant and bury the tip at this time of year, it roots easily, because it still has roots supplying it. Well, I have the cuttings from pruning so I'd might as well try it anyways.
