My Pekin has been broody for over 3 months now. On several occasions I have removed her from the nest and put her in another hen house over night with no nest box, when I let them out in the morning she has something to eat, then she off back to the main hen house to sit once more, putting her in a bowl of cold water hasn't worked either. Does anyone have any other ideas on how to stop her spending all her time sitting in a next with no eggs. She raised some chicks last year , but for some reason she decided to scalp 2 of the chicks, which we then had to dispatch and removed the rest of the chicks to safety.
