I ordered some jap quail eggs on ebay, and when they got here most of the eggs has detached air cells, some even had bubbles floating around!

I let them sit fat end up for 12 hours, and now they are in my crockpot incubator, still upright.

When I incubated eggs on their sides, I would roll them 90 degrees to turn, but I obviously cant do that with an upright egg. How do I turn eggs being incubated upright??

(please don’t pay the temperature reading any mind, it’s mostly there to take down humidity and air temp. the waterbed the eggs are on is up to temp.)

If you don't have an automatic egg turner, you can put a book under one side of the incubator, then swap it to the other side several times/day.
Oh dear, that probably wont work for me as they’re incubating on a waterbed... which will self level 😩
