How do Isterilize a used coop?

Okay it sounds like she didn't have a flock for that long, and many feed stores buy from hatcheries that automatically vaccinate with Marek's...but again I wouldn't worry too much if you sister's birds were fine. Marek's is a fact of life in any flock but not the death sentence it once was.

Most parasite build up occurs AFTER the 2nd year. If this were a coop that had been used for 10 to 15 years, then I'd think twice. If it has only been used a couple of years, your risk is pretty low as long as you follow the instructions I have given.

She started her flock 15 weeks ago. Her coop was brand new from TSC. I think she got it in July.

Do you have a torch? Using a torch over the wood and wire will sterilize it with heat. and it will be immediately usable. You have to be careful where you use it and how long you burn for. I just cover the area as if it were spray paint.

This is the one I use only the smaller container has a measuring compartment there is a less concentrated one mentioned in the uses article I added. It works great my grandpa used the one I use for his cattle goats and horses for monthly bathing also I do use diatomaceous earth in crevices ( must be applied on dry surfaces) hope this helps I understand the paranoia ( my wife)... hope she doesn’t read this:oops::duc
