How do you deal with your addiction?

First, you have to admit you have a problem.

I had no problem:
getting my chicks
buying my incubator
finding eggs that I want to hatch

No problems here!

First I got 12. Then 5 months later, got 7 more (but one didn't make it). DH said that's all! He tells everyone I'm obsessed. Then he told his friend that we're keeping our small pen after we integrate the two flocks so we can try to hatch chickies next spring!!! He wants to hatch 35 or so to raise for the freezer!

Other friends moved to the country and were given 6 layers and a rooster. He's been over there three times teaching them about chickens and helping them with their coop and pen.

Maybe I'm not the one that's obsessed - or if we're both obsessed, there's no chance of recovery. I can live with that!
