How do you dry out your PVC feeders (initial install)

Yeah I had the same problem, moisture over time would cause the feed to cake up and start to mold. We're in a wet environment though, and the feeder was essentially outside (roofed over, but rain could still blow in).
 
The caps on those are sure to leak.
I'll have to get the other type of caps. That's easy. Maybe I can tarp the bottom sections to keep rain from blowing in. I was looking for a way to keep the bulk of feeder on the outside as we don't have an extended run yet. Any other ideas. Hanging inside would take up too much space.
