HOW do you get the vaseline on their combs?

My rooster LIKES it! When he sees me come in with the vaseline he comes over and gives me the drop wing boogey. I pick him up with one arm scoop out some goo and massage his comb while he cuddles up against me!

You can all imagine what DH has to say about this process!
