How do you get ventilation without draft?

We can give plenty of ventilation - I have read about open air coops too,
but how does so much ventilation prevent draft?
    -is confused-

Since I regulate the ventilation through the windows, I built my roosts back far enough behind line between the windows so the birds don't have to roost in the cross breeze. Another option is to have the vents higher than the top of the bird's roost--usually in the gable ends or the roof. What you have to do is figure where the air flow is going to be both in and out, and locate the roosts and, if possible, nesting boxes, so they are out of that flow.
