How do you get water out to your coop?

I have five 100' hoses to reach the coop. I also reach a stock tank for the horses with it. We disconnect to fill other outdoor chicken and duck pools along the way.

The hose. I feel like I'm cheating after I read y'alls posts on hauling. I haul in the winter when we turn off the spigot.

Go down, bring the waterers (3-5) up one at a time and carry then back down for the ones closest to the house. The flocks at the barn get water pulled from the large animal troughs which get filled by our water hauls

I carry my 2 galvanized water founts 2 gallons each about 50 feet to clean and refill. Each lasts a week before needing to refill. Both are inside coops.

I have 2 half gallon pails hanging outside coops that I fill with a gallon jug mornings and top off twice daily. I use rubber bowls outside during winter and a heated base inside coops.
I empty pails and rubber bowls nightly.

I am so very lucky. The well house is not far from the chicken coop. It has a faucet I can connect up to. During the winter the hose is disconnected after use just to be sure there is no freezing. My waterer is about 14 gallons which means the birds only need watered every 2 weeks or so.

We had a 100' hose from the nearest frost free hydrant for years, and carried water in winter, more like 150', from that hydrant to the coop in winter. Finally, about ten (?) years ago, we dug a line to the coop for another frost free hydrant, right next to the coop. Wonderful!
We overwinter 35 to 45 chickens, and carrying water to them is just too much work!

Same. Though I usually carry the waterer out to the hose in warmer weather, rather than bring the hose to the waterer, as I use the leftover water to water the plants around the base of the house. Plus that keeps the run drier.

We bring watering cans to the coop every morning for their water!

I just caught a huge amount of flack from the "better" half when I refused to settle for a 50 footer.
Guess who is constantly stealing my hose though?

Excessive? I call it a good start. We have multiple 100-foot-plus hoses coming off 3 of the 4 corners of the house (we were supposed to have 2 hose bibs on specific corners. The manufacturer put them on the wrong corners so we now have a hose bib on each corner at no extra charge.
