How do you get water out to your coop?

Same. Though I usually carry the waterer out to the hose in warmer weather, rather than bring the hose to the waterer, as I use the leftover water to water the plants around the base of the house. Plus that keeps the run drier.

I use open pans (1gallon plastic dog water dishes) I use the "old" water on the plants behind the run. I sling the old through the fence. I laugh calling it old water since I change it out at least once a day.
On the hose I use a sprayer that has a trigger grip so not much if any hits the ground.

I have I believe a twelve gallon waterer. I clean and fill it once a week. I empty it and bring it over to the house and clean and fill. It cart it back over about 150' to the chickens using a hand truck.

I have multiple 1-3 gallon waterers. I cannot lift a 5-gallon bucket of water.

I just caught a huge amount of flack from the "better" half when I refused to settle for a 50 footer.
I can't even "settle" for 100 footer. My veggie garden is about 115' from the house, so 125' hose or bust. Was pretty difficult finding a lead free 125' hose. Might need 150' in the future if I put more beds further out.

I alternate between carrying out two one-gallon jugs, filled from the tap, and using the hose. The chicken yard - about 24x56 - is right out the back door, so it's not too difficult to take out the jugs. If I need to water their grass and plants or hose down their pen, then I'll use the 75-foot hose. I'm usually watering container plants outside their yard then, too, so it's just part of summer watering. (Hot and dry here.)

I'm expecting to use a heated dog water bowl in their pen during the winter, so will likely continue carrying out jugs then.

In our previous home, where tree roots prevented digging a trench to run lines, DH rigged up a hose on top of the ground that led to a spigot mounted on a post at the grape arbor. From there we ran more hose for the herb garden.
