How do you handle unwanted evangelists who knock at your door?

I am not really sure why this post was started I really doubt the real reason is to truly wonder what to tell these people especially since the OP has abnormally long winded post as a rule and never needs help telling someone her feelings about an issue. It just seems strange or is it me. These people are well meaning and deserve decent treatment. I think the method is outdated but the message is the good for the most part. As an adult I have learned to give people an ear and become a good listener even a message that I know to be wrong.

That's a good point, people DO move house a lot. I still think maybe every two or three months is too often though, twice a year wouldn't be so bad for the same house.

What I have to say to this is that Christians KNOW what we believe. We KNOW it. Thing is THEY know it too!!! So who is right. Does it matter, if you are firm in your faith? To me as a Christian, yes is matters, but I take that to prayer, not to message boards to tell people how wrong they are. What I blelieve is wrong is really pointless.

But I do believe it...and feel sorry for those who don't even try to understand it

Well, yes, I reckon people should at least give things a chance, hear them out. Who knows, something you hear might start you thinking.
