How do you make cottage cheese taste good?

Quote:
Sour cream and onion....potato chips.

I like cottage cheese with lasagna and in it in replace of the ricotta cheese.

If I am eating it plain, I put black pepper and can never have enough. I also put a touch of lawyrs seasoning.

Yummm..i'll have to try the Lawrys...

Oooh, me, too, and in manicotti & in stuffed shells & ravioli and, and, lol....seasoned up right with egg and you can't really tell a difference, especially if homemade is used...I love cottage cheese tossed with lots of green onion or scallion & other herbs on toasted baguette...sooo good....a little seasoned diced tomatoes on top & toasted again all together is delish. Maybe a splash of rooster sauce to crank it up a bit.

lol what is your rooster sauce....ours is tapitio (sp) hot sauce we call it red rooster. My son started calling it that years ago and it stuck. Funny I wonder why? I don't buy it no more since he has not been living here but I miss it.

Sriracha...oooh, near to heaven in bite but mildness! I use it on everything from eggs to cabbage & wings & more, lol. Pic here:

eta: I mix up cottage cheese, sour cream, cream cheese, green onion, herbs & rooster sauce for nice chip dip that has just enough bite to make it interesting. YUM.

The lawry's lol. The other sounds gross to me. Lawry's is really good on the both.

I use lawry's a lot too....homemade french fries, corn, different kinds of meat steak and hamburgers, and other vegies.

Oh I see you calling yours rooster sauce makes sense? Sounds good not sure about the cream cheese mixing up with the cottage cheese though. I could blend it to smooth it out?

I just quickly hand mix the softened cream cheese with the sour cream (that has the rooster sauce & other spices/herbs, veggies, already mixed in it) then fold in the seasoned cottage cheese...a few lumps in it adds interest with the chopped green onions...I use variations of this recipe for making potato salad, deviled eggs & crab/chicken/tuna salad...some spinach and/or artichoke mixed in with a little italian seasoning & grated parm/romano on top to brown under the broiler for toast...omg, lol.

All sounds really good and I love all of it....spinach dip and artichoke dip.
