How do you treat an infection?

    It seems my rooster may have an infection which developed after an injury. How do I treat him? This is all new to me.....

    if he is full grown 1cc tylan 50 injected under the skin for 3 days. i normally inject in 2 spots on the back 1/2cc each

    Is this something I have to seek from a vet or can I purchase it?

    Are you able to post a pic of the wound? How did it happen? How is he behaving through all this? Hard to advise what to do if we can't see him or how he's acting.
