How does this Silkie look for showing?

I am new to silkies and my son loves this one! I was wondering how he looked for showing or should i look for something else?

Nice comb, hard to tell about his type, could you get a side pic and a pic of his feet? From what I see he looks good

It looks like he has some light color on his hackles(the part of his neck that attaches to the body) if it is lighter is tan or silver color and not dark blue like the rest of him he will be disqualified at the show.

I didn't notice that when the pic was small, does he have Silver leakage in his hackles?

no, he is all black. Is he considered black or dark blue..................ok, stop laughing! I have no clue......LMAO

It was the light, i checked all over him and he only has black feathers. I asked hubby to get more pic's but dang it is STORMING down here!!! I have 2 others growing up like him.......

The color that appears on my screen looks to be a blue....but it's hard to tell for sure. Below is a pic of one of our black hens for comparison. Since you see him in person, is he dark like that?
