Don't get me wrong -- biosecurity is an important issue.
That said, I don't think you should immediately assume that your flock is "contaminated" and must die!
People get chickens from swaps and neighbors all the time... although they usually segregate the newcomer at first... it's usually not a problem.
I'm not saying it is nothing to worry about. I'm just saying what's done is done - hopefully there will be no complications for you.

No terror or mass homocide just yet, though.

*lol* I think I'm missing a silkie! Yea... sure of it!

I'd just let her do her thing, especially if she looks like shes not bothering anyone or shows outward signs of illness, and keep your eyes and ears open to someone who's lost a chicken. If no one has in the immediate area, she might be completely relieved to find a nice shelter after wandering for who knows how long.

Two years ago after the big flood, I noticed a few very enormous market hogs wandering down Park Rd. I was worried someone would hit them so I walked out on the road and uttered a 'here piggy piggy' and got them to follow me into a horse run with a little bit of grain. Getting them in was easy. I called the animal shelter, told them I had them (and if anyone called they could come get them - but they could stay a few nights until someone found them). The shelter lady called the FFA teacher at Winlock, he came and gave them a looksee, recognized them, and brought his FFA club two days later to try and load them up in a trailer to take them back to where they belonged. I had the time of my life watching 10 teenagers try and convince a bunch of 400 lb pigs to get into a trailer. It was tons of good fun, and the 4H Market hogs eventually got home safely - the FFA kids were cold, wet, exhausted and all but defeated. I'd never laughed so hard in my life (and got to ride a pig!).

Point being... things always happen like this! Just enjoy them.

Well I said it in the OP that she is in a totaly enclosed area. As in totally enclosed in 1" chicken wire. I mean it is so secure that my tiny OEGB can't get out. And the other thing the eggs are large brown is that what a silkie would lay?
